MIAT UniKL Aerospace Carnival
On the 25th ~ 26th of July, 2009; Solaire Sdn. Bhd. in-cooperated with Cempaka Helicopters Sdn. Bhd. participated in a charity ride at the annual Aero-Carnival II, Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Institute of Aviation Technology. The carnival is to promote the aviation industry as a promising career for all graduates / post graduates in Malaysia. It was also an event to highlight the university to be the approved Maintenance Training Organization (MTO) by the local Department of Civil Aviation of Malaysia (DCA).
We flew Captain Christine Long Lalo over from Sabah as a highlight of the ride and all the native people and students were very excited and thrilled to have her at the carnival.Young students especially the girls were inspired by her. She enchanted most of the boys & made some men eyed her with envy but however were the reaction they had a blasting time.
We had almost 100 riders who came to join the ride. It was indeed an enjoyable experience.
